The National Academy of Professional Studies (NAPS), Australia has contributed NPR 10 lakh (NPR 1,000,000) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund following the catastrophic flash floods and landslides that affected communities in the Nepal–Tibet border region.
The contribution forms part of NAPS’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment and reflects the institution’s strong and longstanding connection with Nepal and the Nepali community.
As part of the initiative, Mukesh Dhamala, Regional Director of NAPS Australia, met with the Hon. Minister for Education at his residence and conveyed NAPS’s solidarity with the people of Nepal during this difficult period. The Minister warmly welcomed the NAPS initiative and acknowledged the institution’s support for communities affected by the disaster.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to highlight NAPS’s commitment to Nepal beyond education and student recruitment, demonstrating the institution’s broader responsibility towards the communities with which it works.
For NAPS, education and social responsibility go hand in hand. The institution believes that meaningful international engagement should extend beyond the classroom and include supporting communities when they are most in need.

Through this contribution and community engagement, NAPS continues to strengthen its presence in Nepal as a socially responsible, academically established and internationally engaged Australian higher education institution.
